Find Yourself / Lose Yourself

five years ago in 2003, i did a photo project where i took a self portrait everyday for the entire year.  below is a quick slideshow of some of the images during that year.  i also looked up what song was the number one hit in ‘03 – so i could use it in the slideshow..  it was eminem’s “lose yourself” from the film “8-mile”. – although i think a title like, “find yourself” would be a bit more fitting…

My Turn, My Turn..

we can’t get enough of this baby.. the smell, the warmth, the softness, the sounds..  lauren, lily and i keep fighting over who will hold her first when she wakes up.  and of course lily usually wins – it’s just to hard to say no to her when she looks at you with those big innocent eyes.  below are some more photos from yesterday..

One Week Peek

meadow turned one week today, they grow up so fast don’t they.. (he he)  here are some shots from her mini photo session.

The Sophia Show

it’s been wonderful to have so many of our friends and family by the house recently to check out our new little sac of joy.  i decide to post a prize to the guests that traveled the greatest distance to see us.  and the winner goes to my sister & brother in-law – Krista & Josh!!  they drove all the way down from boston with their baby daughter sophia.  okay, what do they win, you ask???  how about a cool slideshow of their daughter sophia….  enjoy.

Meadow Desiree Dinofa

welcome to the home of our new blog.. (please make a note & bookmark this web address for all future posts)

we are thrilled that the first post at our re-designed blog is of our new baby girl, meadow.  meadow was born on june, 17th 2008 at 3:27pm and weighed 8lbs. 2oz.  lauren did an absolutely stunning job during the delivery, which she incredibly did “all natural” for the second time.  below are some shots we took in the hospital on delivery day.

this was the view from our window on the third floor of the hospital..  lauren told me that she would focus on the cross on top of saint joseph’s church seen in the distance, which helped her durning her painful contractions.

this is one of the very first images of baby meadow in this world… and i must say, what a great moment it was..

lauren grabbed my camera as i held the baby and captured this awesome moment of baby and proud papa.

lauren & meadow playing their first game of patty cake.

we couldn’t have been more pleased with the amazing reaction lily had to seeing the baby for the first time.  she came running into the room with this huge smile on her face and jumped onto the bed with mommy and just sat there admiring her new little sister.
