You’ll Never Forget

lily woke up yesterday morning at 7:30 am, asked if i would go outside with her and teach her how to ride her bike without training wheels.  needless to say, i was game.  you could see the determination in her eyes, that today was going to be the day she conquered her fears.  we are so proud of you lily….  she did it!!!  and she did it well.  just one day later, she is now super confident and riding circles around us.  we love you, congratulations lily.

Grass,Tree,Pool,Ducks, Oh My

here’s some more photo goodness of little erik…

you never know when a baby is going to decide to take a break for a little food, even if it’s in the middle of your photo session… which is just fine with me, because that’s usually a perfect time to capture some classic moments.

after his snack, erik was off to the races and spotted my light reflector unattended in the grass.  before i could grab it off the ground he was sitting on top of it with some huge smiles on his face, it was like he was fooling with me or something.  so cute…..

after a little waddle time with the ducks, it was time for a dip in the pool…

i don’t know what it was about this tree, but erik found it rather intriguing and gave it plenty of hugs and kisses…

Meadow’s Baptism

on august 17th meadow turned 2 months old and celebrated her baptism at our lady of sorrows church in linwood.  a special thank you goes out to my brother jeff and sister-in-law tammy for taking on the special responsibility of god parents to our little baby girl.

after the ceremony it was off to the atlantic city aquarium for a fun after-party for all our guests…

Baby Erik

below is a preview of the fun photo session we had recently with the adorable baby erik.  look out for the full post soon….

The Dan(a) Family

i had to laugh to myself while doing the photo session for dan, dana, and their adorable son, daniel.  dan had told me that he didn’t know what to expect for the shoot since he has never been photographed professionally before…  which became pretty evident when he would “thank me” for taking the portraits for them every 20 minutes or so, as if we were finished with the shoot that quickly.  although, to be honest, the first image captured of the family is filled with so much “awesome” that we could have just stopped there and been okay.

before we knew it, the shoot was complete and the happy family hopped into their new caddy and headed home.  but not before i snagged these last two images, that are just oozing with personality.

Army of Waddlers

lauren and i were on a fun little child shoot today down by the lake.  when we arrived we saw a group of ducks in the distance and said to each other – “cool, look some ducks”…  no lie, within two seconds the ducks spotted us and made a b-line our way.  this little army of waddlers proceeded to surround us and demanded food.  unfortunately, we came empty handed and they eventually moved on to find some other chump to pick on…
