my wifey, lauren has been playing with my camera a lot lately and she captured some really wonderful moments around our house the last couple of days. her talents continue to amaze me.

this is our daughter, lily… or maybe i should say “tiger lily” Grrrrowl….
my absolute favorite, this gem is going to be blown up and showcased in our home.
looks like christmas is coming a little early for the burtt family. kimberly & matt your dvd will be at your doorstep today. ho, ho, ho – enjoy the show.
we had an incredible shoot last week with four gorgeous families down at kennedy park in somers point. the first family to show up was rachel, devon, taylor, olivia, and sammy… followed by bess and moe… third was lila… and last but not least was piper. we never met any of the kids before they showed up for their session. the kids were all extraordinarily beautiful and we were so impressed with how great everyone got along with one other. thank you for allowing us to spend the afternoon with all of you and for giving us the opportunity to document this special time in your lives through photographs. now for the photos and slideshow. enjoy.
rachel. - her eyes are just stunning. i think she could hypnotize you with a glance.
devon. - looks like he could become a rock star. but not the high school musical type, right dev?
taylor. – would have no problem stepping up for her brother and taking the lead in the high school musical. plus, she would get to hang out with zac efron. oh, how dreamy.
olivia. – was all about the fun. when it came time to snap a photo of her, she oozed smiles and laughter.
sammy. – rocking the fur. rocking the pig tails. too cute.
bess. – was the opposite of shy. she was willing to do cartwheels on command without hesitation. personality + looks. what a combo.
moe. – seriously, can he get any cuter? moe was my little homeboy during the shoot.
lila. – everything you want in a little girl… innocent, sweet and soaking in all the little pleasures of life.
piper. – wow, this is so urban outfitters. she took a little while to warm up to fact that she was involved in a photo shoot. eventually she gave in and i was able to grab some of my favorite images of the day with her.

guess who turned 5 months old today? drum roll please ……..
it’s baby meadow !!!!
i spotted these cool stripes of light coming through our living room blinds the other day and thought it would make for a very interesting image. it certainly doesn’t hurt that it’s cascading on lauren’s beautiful face.
