The Petrella Family

i was extremely excited when the petrella family booked us for their family portrait session last month. besides being an absolute joy to photograph, they had a vision of what they wanted and i was honored that they chose me to be the photographer to bring it to life. the goal of the shoot was to capture a few real life images in a modern, hip, edgy, and somewhat moody way. it was so much fun creating select focusing, lens blurs, and textures to the photos. thanks gang for being so cool and getting dirty with me, hope you likey….

here’s a little infrared action.. i just love how it turned the autumn leaves to a powder white against the dark sky.

i almost went blind trying to snag this picture, but i just couldn’t pass up those killer shadows.

Pat - All I can say is “WOW”. Can your pictures get any better? They are amazing. I knew the Petrella shots would be awesome when I saw the “peek”. But they are over the top. You guys are something else all together.

Anonymous - Love them all. These are fantastic. Some really unique pictures of the Petrella’s, Tim. Bet you and Lauren had fun with this shoot. Love the ones of Mom and Dad in the background. Nice images of a healthy family. That is what it is all about as they grow up. The one with Emily holding their hands with the boys is really special, too.
