Tyler & Carly

tyler & carly are two very little, very precious, very adorable, very blessed twin babies. they weighed in at around 4lbs. each at the time of these portraits. i feel extremely honored to be chosen to photograph newborns at this very special time in their lives. below are some of my favorites from our mini photo session.

that is proud mommy on the left and her twin sister on the right. you got it, twins holding twins.. pretty cool…..

Visiting the Family for the Holiday

some more photo goodness from our holiday adventures visiting our families this season….

lauren’s uncle frankie & aunt madeline have this amazing heated indoor pool.  meadow couldn’t wait to get into her birthday suit and take a little dip with mommy and her big sis lil.

say hello to finnegan. one of the coolest doggies i have ever met.  the next few photos were taken at uncle john and aunt debbie’s house.  finn just loved soaking in the window sun, and who could blame him, it was so nice.

here’s a shot of lauren’s cousin, erin out on the deck – i’m just loving that sun flare. erin is moving back home from california soon and we can’t wait to hang out with her more.

baby CJ took a little nap on mommy’s lap so i decided to take a snap.  how about that?  okay, okay i’ll stop now.

this is christmas morning at our house. lily and meadow dove right in to see what santa left for them.

the next day it was off to my parents house to visit with my two older brothers and their families. my dad got into the spirit and dressed up as santa and surprised the kids with a quick little gift giving goodness.

santa headed home and wished everyone a very merry christmas and a happy new year.

Christmas Eve….

every year around christmas we look forward to seeing our family and spending time with them to catch up on each others lives. we pack up the car and travel from house to house visiting as many family members as we can in three days.  this year our first stop was pennsylvania to visit with lauren’s cousins. they have a beautiful house and as soon as i saw the bathroom i knew it was going to become my personal photo studio for the day.

that’s me.

sophia, krista, tommy, lily, and lauren.  meadow was rolling around in the other room keeping everyone else at the party entertained.

lily, of course.

casey.

alicia.

sophia and papa josh.

tuggers.

i caught lily putting her piano lessons to good use.

Meadow’s Half Year Birthday

i can’t believe how quick life has been flying. meadow has hit the half year mark and it doesn’t look like it will be slowing down anytime soon. i can’t even express in words how wonderful she has been and how infectious her “happy” is to everyone that meets her.  we love you. happy halfy.

Portrait Favorites : 2008

i’ve been thinking a lot lately about this past year and what’s on the horizon for 2009. it is all very exciting and i can’t wait to get rolling in the new year. i would also like to thank all my clients that i have met and let you know how grateful i am to you for allowing me the opportunity to capture images of your family. here are a few of my favorite portrait photos from 2008…

enjoy.

Lunch at Friendly’s

“i wanna go to friendly’s” – that’s what i’ve been hearing from lily for a little over a week now. why does she want to go to friendly’s soo bad?? is it the over cooked macaroni and cheese? how about the greasy fries or apple juice with the super thick straw? nope. it was because the t.v. commercial was advertising a make-your-own snowman for dessert. it’s three scoops of vanilla ice cream, M&M’s for buttons, pretzel sticks for arms, a cherry for a hat, and small gummy bears for the face. it didn’t take lily long to dive into her creation and destroy any hope i had in snagging a full picture of frosty all decked out in his yummy outfit. what is a photographer to do? i decided to get a little creative myself and take some detail shots of the stuff that gathered on our table.

oh frosty, … i don’t think you’ll need this button any more.

and since lauren and i are getting ready to start shooting weddings in 2009 – i thought i would test out a little creative composition for a wedding ring shot. i think it turned out pretty cool, now if only one of our couples reception is held at friendly’s i’ll be good to go.
