Cori + Rollie: Wedding

i had the great pleasure in second shooting a wedding earlier this month at the lovely prallsville mills with monika broz.  monika is the amazing photographer that shot my wedding back in 2007.  i was thrilled with the opportunity to finally shoot along side her and it just so happened to be at one of the most unique weddings i have ever attended.  wedding day love birds, cori & rollie have such a great sense of style and it showed in all the details they brought to this wonderful event.  from cori’s custom made wedding dress to the oversized red lips for the kids – everything was just perfect.  introducing newlyweds, cori & rollie.  enjoy.

i never saw someone so happy to get a handful of rocks poured over their head.. (:  gotta love kids.

photo tip of the day:  “how do you get 30 kids at a wedding to trust you to take their picture?  – you let them take goofy pictures of you first..  but just beware that you may get rabbit ears from time to time. (: – gotta love kids.

Stephanie + James: Engaged

what makes real photo magic?  answer: when you have a cool couple like stephanie & james rocking out with you for an engagement session on the streets of margate…  we had such a great time casually cruising around to see what type of textures we could discover.  we can’t wait to bring the awesome sauce to their wedding in october 2010.  thanks steph and james for being so rad!  enjoy.

this ring shot is icy as hell… literally!

this next shot, which just might be my favorite of the day was a double exposure image shot through jame’s glasses.  totally win!

NYC: Model Shoot

last month i had an amazing modeling photo shoot in new york city with the super fun “photog shootout” crew.  i was asked to lead a group of fellow photographers to discuss my process of running a photo session & my concepts of photo composition.  below are some of my favorite images of one of our amazing models we had the pleasure of shooting that day.  enjoy.

Portraits of Bess

we had a fun little portrait session with bess the other day around the corner from our house in front of the lake.  below are the results which i think turned out pretty magical.  she’s just the cutest, isn’t she?  enjoy.

Happy Father’s Day

i wanted to post a huge THANK YOU to my family for always being there for me and supporting me in everything that i do in life.  below are some photos of my fam-squad who mean so much to me, thank you all for being you.  i love you.

i couldn’t forget the little guy that is due in just seven weeks.  of course, he’s still hiding in lauren’s baby bump but i am more than excited to have him come into my life.

Megan + Bill: Engaged

we love it when our couples are up for something a little different during their engagement shoot.  megan & bill were cool for just about anything.  lauren and i really had a blast hanging with them for the afternoon.  we headed over to atlantic city and just casually walked around and shot on the beach, boardwalk and inside the casinos to see what we could find.  their wedding reception is planned to go down at the water club inside of the borgata hotel in 2010.  my prediction is that it will be super fantastical.  enjoy.
