from the time the first shutter clicked to the last frame in the session was almost exactly 5 minutes. that’s how long our daughter lily gave me to snap some portraits of her the other day. (: i’ll take what i can get and be thankful for every precious moment. enjoy.

kelly+frank made our job of photographing their wedding so very entertaining and enjoyable. lauren and i had the best time hanging with them and their awesome friends in the bridal party throughout the day. the wedding ceremony took place in ocean city, nj at the saint augustine parish and the reception was held at the seaview golf resort in galloway, nj. thanks to such an amazing group of people, they all made us feel like one of the crew. it was like getting picked first for a dodgeball game in grade school. we would love to photograph a wedding like this a million times over.

sometimes we luck out and have one of those perfect wedding days when everything just flows so nicely. this was the case for kellyanne + marc’s atlantic city country club wedding. it probably didn’t hurt that they are just absolutely stunning and made our camera very happy to be taking pictures of them. the girls in kelly’s bridal party were the sweetest ever and we were stoked to hang out with some of their familiar faces again. marc’s san diego crew were ready to party and did it up good back here in south jersey. they keep us entertained and laughing throughout the night.

congratulations kellyanne+marc, we enjoyed every second of your wedding and we know all of your friends and family did as well.

big thanks to our friend brandon who came out for the day to assist us at this wedding. it was kinda funny, i actually broke the first white chair i stood on while photographing these bridal party portraits. i almost “ate it” right on the concrete in front of everyone but my cat like skills saved the day. (:

28 smackers!

yesterday was a super special birthday for lauren. she turned 28!! our parents were gracious enough to watch our kiddos for the day so we could spend some “much needed” quality time together. we had a relaxing afternoon and evening doing some shopping and eating out – ya know, all the things you take for granted until you have three little babies and realize how difficult that becomes. the day together was perfect.

it still boggles my mind that i was lucky enough to meet her and build an amazing family together. we have big plans for the future and we are super excited to be sharing it here on our blog with all of our wonderful readers and friends. (:
