lauren and i are so excited and happy for desiree + tim…. soon to be a family of three (: they both made our job super easy with their fun + bubbling personalities and smiles. we simply had to say the word ‘the’ and the two of them would burst into laughter. it is super fun to simply be around them both. desiree + tim, welcome to the world of parenting! lauren and i can’t wait to meet the special addition to your family!

hello blog readers. meet karlee. how beautiful is she?! we were beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to hang out with her and photograph her newborn baby pictures. she is absolutely precious. karlee’s parents, kim+joe, are super cool and we are so happy for them and their growing family. just the fact that they own a boxer puts them on the top of our ‘awesome’ list. thank you guys for welcoming us into your home. you have a beautiful family, including our buddy, jack the doggie (: enjoy.

lauren and i were super excited to meet kendall+brooke for the first time. i mean seriously, is there anything better than two newborn twin girls? they are just so precious. our portrait session took place at the twins home so they would feel all nice and cozy in their own environment, even though they have only been living there themselves for a few months. (: below are some of our favorite moments from the time we spent together. congratulations to mom & dad on the growing family – good luck keeping up through the years. enjoy.
the day was perfect. i met the keenan family at kennedy park in somers point, nj – just as the sun was going down. my photo ingredients for the day included: a 3 year old boy full of energy and laughter, 1 loving father and 1 radiant mother with the cutest little baby bump.

newborn baby photo shoots are always very special to us. the pictures are usually taken within the families home since the baby is just a few weeks old. when we arrive and step inside the front door we can literally feel a sense of joy flooding throughout the house. there is true excitement in the air. this happened to me just the other day when i met baby hailey and her parents for a little quality time in front of the camera. below are a few of my favorite pictures from hailey’s first photo session. enjoy.

hailey was a little skeptical when she first woke up and noticed she was in the middle of a photo session with a professional photographer.
luckily that changed pretty quickly as mom reminded her that she would always be there to protect her.
