vintage style wedding | krissy+brad

krissy + brad booked us at the last minute (just a few weeks prior to their big day). lauren and i met with krissy over at the the chelsea in atlantic city for lunch at teplitzky’s and a tour of the hotel. oh yeah, i forgot to mention that krissy is the event/wedding manager for the chelsea hotel, so needless to say we were completely stoked to be her chosen wedding photographers. we were just blown away with the decor of the hotel and it is now our number one, most favorite wedding venue in atlantic city to photograph.

krissy+brad planned the perfect wedding. it had a vintage flare (which we love) while taking advantage of the mid century decor that the chelsea hotel offers. this small intimate wedding was a huge success and we couldn’t be happier for the newlyweds. lauren and i can’t wait for our next opportunity to shoot a wedding at the chelsea hotel, plus we’ll get to work with krissy again – that’s a “WIN” in our book. enjoy.

the amazing flowers and ceremony design was created by the very talented florists at the manic botanic in ocean city, nj.

the chelsea prime restaurant on the fifth floor of the hotel was the host for the wedding reception that evening. the restaurant over looks the beaches and boardwalk of atlantic city and it is truly magnificant. the walls are decorated with vintage black & white pictures displaying the history of atlantic city.

the party continued over at C5 which is chelsea’s “club within a club”. the guests enjoyed cocktails and dancing while the dj rocked the house.

the city of love, philly style : stephanie+david

a perfect match…. stephanie+david. they truly are meant to be. they are so happily in love and it was awesome to witness their official commitment to one another at their wedding held at the cescaphe ballroom in philadelphia. stephanie was not only one of the most laid back brides we have ever met, but also the most excited bride as well. she could not have been more ecstatic on her wedding day… never seemed nervous for a second. same goes for dave… cool and collected…. simply happy to be marrying the love of his life. (:

the day started off in the hyatt regency penns landing, in philadelphia where the bride was getting ready for her most special day. following their first look with each other, we headed over to the cescaphe ballroom. the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was out of this world…… best food ever! our knees buckled when we tried one of the coconut shrimp appetizers, so good. enjoy your lifetime of love and happiness together. thanks stephanie and dave for hanging out with us for the day. we truly enjoyed it!

the below photo was snagged by lauren as we ran outside onto the bitter cold streets of philadelphia. it just might be my favorite groomsmen shot ever.

timeless flower arrangements by florist russell anthony of bensalem, pa.

it was quite the dance scene but there was one sincere moment in particular that topped off the party…. dave serenading stephanie with the beatles song ‘here comes the sun’ while his groomsmen backed him up on stage, a cappella style. you did awesome dave!

as the ball drops | dana+dan

this is definitely one new year’s eve we will never forget…. thank you dan and dana for some awesome memories! we were so flattered when you asked us to photograph your wedding. it was a privilege to be part of your special day (: you guys really know how to throw a party….. from the girls toasting with champagne at maxine’s house (the matron of honor and also a previous bride of ours), to the boys toasting with beers in the limo, a candlelit ceremony, followed by a full on rock star dance party at the atlantic city country club, the new year’s kiss at midnight, and so nicely closed with a breakfast served to start off 2010. we enjoyed every second of it and we know all of your friends and family did as well. congratulations to dan, dana, and cinco! you are a beautiful family and we wish you the best always!

let it snow & let it snow some more | erin+steven

lauren and i first met with erin+steve through the recommendation of our past clients shelly+dan, the wedding i shot at the hill school in pottstown pa back in august while lauren was just coming home from the hospital with our new baby boy. when we found out that erin+steve would be getting married in the same area, i was super excited to return and have lauren by my side for the adventure. speaking of “adventure” – pottstown is about a 3 hour drive from our home in linwood nj – but on this particular day, mother nature decided it would be fun to dump one of the heaviest snow storms of the season on our area. oh, the fun of driving in the snow before any of the snow blows get out to clear the roads. luckily for us i was driving my trusty toyota fj cruiser set in 4wheel drive and we had no problems making our way up to the wedding. although we did have to pull over to the side of the road several times to scrap the windows clear of all the ice build up. (; in the end it was all worth it to be part of erin+steve’s lovely wintery wedding day.

erin+steve, you guys were rockstars… we thought is was awesome how erin would just throw on her uggs with her wedding dress any time she ventured outside. steve was up for anything while having a permanent smile on his face…. thank you both for being so great. it was awesome to spend the day with you two (: congratulations, we wish you all the best.

we arrived to the lords & ladies salon in pottstown pa as erin was getting her hair all pretty before heading over to her parents house for the finishing touches with her bridesmaids.
