vintage wedding at the mansion | jamie+tony

after meeting with jamie+tony a while back to discuss their wedding plans, we knew this event was going to be something unique and special.  we could hardly wait for their wedding day to finally arrive.  jamie has a very classy style with a vintage flare, and we absolutely loved photographing her.

everything started off great when we arrived at their house to meet up with boys as they were getting ready for the big day.  that was until tony received a phone call from his bride-to-be that the girls managed to get themselves a flat tire on the way home from the salon.  when i asked tony if everything would be alright, his response was: “oh sure, jamie knows how to change a flat”.   come to find out, jamie sure did know how to change a flat and proceeded to do just that on the side of the road in her wedding veil and freshly manicured fingers.  gotta love her.  when jamie finally arrived back to the house she was happy as could be, her hands were a bit dirty but she took it all in stride and laughed at the situation.  this rare quality is something lauren and i both love about jamie.  her uplifting spirit is infectious to be around.  tony is one lucky fellow.

the wedding ceremony was held at the gorgeous saint thomas at villanova chapel followed by an amazing reception at the historic cairnwood mansion in bryn athyn pennsylvania.  enjoy.

introducing newlyweds | jamie+tony

the brides hairpiece was custom created by her seamstress, lori matthews of havertown, pa.

grooms suit was ralph lauren from mens wearhouse and the purple tie was from an amazing boutique in philadelphia called andrew’s ties.

this vintage styled wedding dress was a jim hjelm creation.

the brides purple shoes are from the jessica simpson collection, while all the bridesmaids heals are from david’s bridal.

the awesome floral creations were from the talented, carl alan ltd of philadelphia, pa

i highly recommend giving our friend matt blank at synergetic sounds a call about providing the music for your wedding.  he has some of the smoothest transitions i have ever heard.  we have yet to see him at a wedding that he didn’t have the whole place partying like they were rockstars, that includes grandma.. (:

the city of love, philly style : stephanie+david

a perfect match…. stephanie+david.  they truly are meant to be.  they are so happily in love and it was awesome to witness their official commitment to one another at their wedding held at the cescaphe ballroom in philadelphia.  stephanie was not only one of the most laid back brides we have ever met, but also the most excited bride as well.  she could not have been more ecstatic on her wedding day… never seemed nervous for a second.  same goes for dave… cool and collected…. simply happy to be marrying the love of his life.  (:

the day started off in the hyatt regency penns landing, in philadelphia where the bride was getting ready for her most special day.   following their first look with each other, we headed over to the cescaphe ballroom.  the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was out of this world…… best food ever!  our knees buckled when we tried one of the coconut shrimp appetizers, so good.  enjoy your lifetime of love and happiness together.  thanks stephanie and dave for hanging out with us for the day.  we truly enjoyed it!

enjoy.

make up artist, cindy singer of dylan michael cosmetics did a wonderful job on all the ladies.  the hair styles were designed by the very talented jill kozar of up your do.  special thanks goes out to our partner in crime for the day – videographer lou anthony from video by louis anthony.

the wedding dress was from l&h bridal of philadelphia, pa

the view from the hyatt regency philadelphia hotel suite, pretty epic.

the below photo was snagged by lauren as we ran outside onto the bitter cold streets of philadelphia.  it just might be my favorite groomsmen shot ever.

timeless flower arrangements by florist russell anthony of bensalem, pa.

it was quite the dance scene but there was one sincere moment in particular that topped off the party…. dave serenading stephanie with the beatles song ‘here comes the sun’ while his groomsmen backed him up on stage, a cappella style.  you did awesome dave!

get down get ga get down…
