bringing the love | becky+will

when becky+will first met with us at our house to discuss their wedding day, we couldn’t help but think how perfectly in love the two of them were with each other. lauren and i meet with lots of newly engaged couples every month but there was definitely something special about these two and how they seemed to be completely made for one another. i almost feel like every time they would look each other in the eyes -little cartoon hearts would be bursting over their heads. (:

the wedding day started in the south jersey shore town of ventnor at the salon oh! omar lopez, the owner and stylist of this high energy salon did an amazing job on the hair and make-up of all the girls in the wedding party. afterwards, we headed to the carriage house over in galloway for a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception. congratulations becky+will, we wish you all the best in life together. enjoy.

little mellow yellow wedding | chrissy+kevin

how do you plan a small intimate wedding with your closest friends and family? my suggestion would be to contact chrissy and kevin because they got it right. their ceremony was held under the boardwalk pavilion in sea isle city, nj over looking the ocean. the private reception was just steps away at vinces’s restaurant. many of the details of their wedding day were hand crafted, unique ideas from chrissy + kevin. lauren and i were pleasantly surprised to walk into their reception and notice the photo booth filled with guests enjoying a few happy minutes of “goofy time” in front of the lens. it also brought back great memories from our own wedding and the fun times we had with our vintage black & white photo booth. here is a link to the company that we both used if you’re interested in a photo booth for yourself: (classic photo booths)

i also love it when our couples have a distinct color theme and style to their wedding day. chrissy + kevin opted for bright yellow and it was bold and beautiful. loved it! you guys rock. enjoy.

okay, i don’t know if it’s true but – if a wild monarch butterfly lands on your finger on your wedding day – that should be good luck for the rest of your marriage. you know what, even if it’s not true – i think i’m standing behind it from now on. step out of the way lucky lady bugs, wedding day luck now belongs to the butterfly. (:
